Flying into the light, a new dawn, emerging into the day...
Painted during lockdown, this owl carries light in her wings and a sense of emergence, slightly vulnerable, full of hope. Seeing the world in a new way and also being seen.
I painted her with the flow of acrylic inks swirling with emotions. She was a place of refuge, meditation as I worked from my garage in lockdown, carrying the light with her.
