Held in this roo’s body are hints of nature. Wide open spaces, like the enormity of the outback immersed in silence. A flow of ocean waves. The texturing of rocks and the hint of a plant fossil in her chest. Scratched into her hind leg, the gumtree I see from my studio door.
Both a part of nature and holding nature within.
She is a meditation - listening for the melody and the silence.
